Deutches Technikmuseum

The Deutsches Technikmuseum, founded in 1982, stands in a long tradition of scientific and technical collections. Many of these had their home in Berlin for more than 120 years and some of these collections have been taken over by the Deutsches Technikmuseum. Amongst other things the museum has a large collection of aircraft and an Enigma machine from the Second World War. In addition to war materials, various railroad equipment is on display, including a train carriage belonging to Kaiser Wilhelm II and locomotives and waggons used during World War II. There is also a focus on the use of trains in carrying out the Holocaust.
