At the Municipal Cemetery in Wormerveer are the grave of a victim who died in World War II. This is the grave of: Pieter Jacob Zwart, died in Koog aan de Zaan op 05-04-1945. Piet Jacob Zwart was a garage owner by profession. He was a member of the Zaans Resistance. He was involved in helping people in hiding, the National Support Fund and the underground press. Because he had a garage and rented buses, he also came into contact with the Nazis. At the end of the war, it was rumored that Piet Zwart collaborated with the Germans. Within the Interior Forces, the order was issued to liquidate Piet Zwart. On April 5, 1945, Black was shot and killed by KP's Johan Bak. In retrospect, it turned out to be a mistake.
