8 Flak-division Bunker

The 8 Flak-division HQ bunker is located in the main Bremen’s park, Bürgerpark. During the last days of Bremen capture (April 1945) it served as command post for Fritz Becker, Battalion commander of Bremen. It surrendered on 27th April with a parliamentary coming out with a white flag. Today an high fence surrounds the building, which is used as winter storage for the park’s boats.
