This memorial commemorates 216 Heroes of the Soviet Union and 20 twice Heroes of the Soviet Union who were bestowed that titel for their part in the capture of Konigsberg in 1945. At the center is a monument in honor of Marshal of the Soviet Union Aleksandr Vasilevsky.
