Fort Battice - Fortified Position Liège

This fort was built in 1934 and was part of the Fortified Position Liège. In May 1940 the fort was shelled and bombed by the Germans. In Bunker I, 26 soldiers were killed by a Stuka-bombardment. After a siege of five days the fort surrendered on 22 May.
