More than sixty years after his death a museum about Titus Brandsma was opened in the Frisian city of Bolsward. This priest acted during the Second World War against National Socialism and in particular the persecution of the Jews. On July 26, 1942 he was killed by the occupier in Dachau Concentrationcamp . In the museum numerous historical objects are shown which came from the family of Titus Brandsma and the Documentation Center for R.C. Friesland. Since July 27, 2022, the new exhibition 'In the footsteps of Titus Brandsma' has been housed in De Tiid museum in Bolsward
