Normandy Victory Museum

Rue de la Fourchette, 50500, Catz/St Pellerin
Normandie, France

On the site of the former Normandy Tank Museum, there is a museographical space of approximately 1,500 m², with many well-furnished showcases dedicated to the Battle of the Hedges, covering a period from the Battle of Normandy to the end of the war. The landing of Normandy will also be evoked, as well as the lives of Norman civilians, entry into resistance, field hospitals and the return of French prisoners of war. The place of women during the war is also important in the exhibition, reinforced by the presence of hundreds of models and many vintage vehicles: Jeep, side-car, dodge-ambulance, GMC… Not to mention the windows of civil and military objects perfectly enhanced. To mark the 80th anniversary of D-day, an entirely new facade was installed in front of the museum.
