Foxholes 394th Infantry Regiment (99th Infantry Division)

At 07.00 h, 16 December 1944 the 12th Volksgrenadier Division assaulted the positions of the 394th Infantry Regiment after a large scale bombardment. An important task of this German division was the capture of the crosroads of Losheimergaben. Today there are still many foxholes and bomb craters scattered in the vicinity of this village.
