Centre Jean Moulin

The Centre National Jean Moulin, established in 1967, is a museum and documentation center dedicated to World War II. Located in Bordeaux, it houses three floors of collections focusing on the Resistance, Deportation, and the Free French Forces. Visitors can explore original posters, clandestine correspondence, weaponry, and other artifacts that illustrate the networks and sacrifices of those who fought for freedom. The museum also serves as a research hub, hosting exhibitions and educational activities. Open year-round, it offers guided tours and a reference library to deepen historical understanding. One of the exhibits is a replica of the Cockle Mark II, which was used by RM commando's during Operation Frankton.
