Affoldern Bridge

This bridge over the Eder was destroyed by a flood shortly after the Ederdamme was breached on 17 May 1943. The bridge was rebuilt. The destruction cost the lives of 14 people in the municipality of Affoldern and almost completely destroyed the village.
