Memorial Willi Graf's Residence

The German student Willi Graf lived in this house. He was a member of the resistance group "White Rose" during the Second World War. Graf joined several youth organizations and took part in illegal activities against the Nazi regime, including distributing anti-Nazi pamphlets and writing freedom slogans on walls. He was arrested by the Gestapo in February 1943 and later sentenced to death by the Volksgerichtshof. Graf was eventually executed in Munich-Stadelheim prison on October 12, 1943.
