Fortified Position of Liège - Fort de Hollogne

This fort was built between 1888 and 1892 and was part of the Fortified Position of Liège. The fortress was bombed heavily in the First and the Second World War. Remarkably, it is the only fort that was not modernized between World War I and World War II. This fort can be visited, see the website for the correct dates
