This monument commemorates the battle of the 20A Artillery Regiment of the Chasseurs Ardennais in the defence of the canal Albert on 10 and 11 May 1940. There is also a commemorative plate in memory of the soldiers of the regiment who fell in the military operations of May 1940.This plate contains 41 names of fallen soldiers.
