Memorials Lakenhalle

Several plaques are attached to the Lakenhalle. The first plaque is dedicated to the 1st Polish Armoured Division. Text: "In memory of the set in of the 1st Polish Armored Division on 6 September 1944 in Ypres fighting for your and our freedom". This plaque granted by the 98 Logistic Battalion and adapt by Qualified Centre for Support of Materials and Products. Another plaque is in memory of the French soldiers who fell at Ypres and surroundings during the First Word War. A third plaque is dedicated to the victims of chemical warfare. Text on the plaque: "Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). In Memory of the Victims of Chemical Weapons in World War I".
