Series of plaques at St. Paul's Cathedral in Melbourne related to World War 2, Korea and Vietnam. "H.M.A.S. Australia 1928-1954 Dedicated to the memory of shipmates killed in action during World War II !939-1945 89 Officers and men are listed" HMAS Australia was a 8 x 8inch gun County class heavy cruiser with Battle honours of Atlantic (1940-41), Pacific (1941-43), Coral Sea (1942), Savo Island (1942), Guadalcanal, (1942), New Guinea (1942-1944), Leyte Gulf (1944) and Lingayen Gulf (1945).
