German War Graves Friedhof Wilmersdorf

Wilmersdorf Cemetery contains a plot with German war graves from the Second World War. There is also the grave of the famour operette-composer Leon Jessel, of Jewish ancestry. Because of a letter found in his house, he was arrested on 15 December 1941. On 4 January 1942, he died due to heavy torturing by the Gestapo.
