Former Location Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine

This shrine was built in 1896 and destroyed in the atomic bomb blast in 1945. A baseball stadium was built on the former shrine grounds in 1957. The shrine was rebuilt within the walls of the Hiroshima castle in 1965.
