Memorial Ultimatum 14-05-1940

South Holland, Netherlands, the
On May 14th, 1940, the Dutch Commander of the Armed Forces in Rotterdam colonel Scharroo, received the German ultimatum at his headquarters. The HQ was located at Statenweg 147, which is now a residence building. The Memorial is situated just across the street. An information board explaining the events of 14 May 1940 has been placed near the monument.
