Museum Ship USS Missouri Memorial

On 2 September 1945, the Japanese formally surrendered aboard the USS Missouri, which meant the end of the Second World War. The ship was active at the landings on Iwo Jima and Okinawa. It was also used in the Korea War. In 1991 the ship was active during the Gulf War. Since 1992, the ship is a museum ship.
