This German 75mm Pak 40 cannon is situated in the village of Zandoerle, municipality Veldhoven. A sign gives some additional information: [i]Gun from the Second World War In September 1944 during the Allied operation Market Garden this gun was captured from the enemy. During the liberation parties the gun was placed on this square by the residents. Donated by the municipality to the residents. Anti-tank gun, type PAK 40, calibre 75mm. Last restoration in 2006 by Leebur b.v. Bladel Historical Foundation Veldhoven[/i]
