At the General Cemetery in Schoorl is a memorial in memory of three Jewish residents of Schoorl which to be died in German concentration camps in World War ll. These people were: Louis Kadt, died in Auschwitz on 10-08-1942, age 29 Sonja Rita Kadt-Swaap, died in Auschwitz on 10-08-1942, age 22 Philip Mok, died in Sobibor on 09-07-1943, age 22.
