Ship Wreck USS Tanager (AM-5)

De USS Tanager (AM-5) was a Lapwing-class minesweeper. The ship participated in the last phase of the First World War stationed in the Azores. She was sunk by Japanese artillery fire on May 4th, 1942. The ship received one campaign star for her part in the campaign in the Philippines.
