Memorial Women from the Resistance

The memorial "Women from the Resistance" commemorates the women who were killed in their battle against the German occupier in the Second World War. The memorial bears 21 names of female members of the resistance who died in the concentratie camps Ravensbrück and Auschwitz. The statue was made by Elly Baltus in 1999.
