War Museum Middelstum

The war museum in Middelstum is a small private museum about 16 miles North of Groningen. The museum is managed by owner Ties Groenewold. As of 2009/2010 he collects all sorts of items from the war, mainly local items and in April 2015 he decided to turn this into a museum in the barn of his home. In the museum are mainly German items from the war, but also from the Dutch army, civilian and political memorabilia. The most unique items are German anti aircraft guns from Groningen and Friesland.
