The Stadtfriedhof of Braunschweig contains several plots with war graves: - A plot with 683 German war graves. Most of them died in the bombing of Braunschweig on 15 October 1944 by the R.A.F. - A plot with 210 war graves of German soldiers. - A plot with victims of the Riesenberg murders committed by the SS in 1933.
