Amstelwijck House
Amstelwijckweg, Dordrecht
South Holland, Netherlands, the
Amstelwijck House and the monastery nearby were the headquarters of the Dutch 28th Infantry Regiment in May 1940. German paratroopers surrendered the house on 10 May 1940. During this heavy fight, 14 Dutch and 4 German soldiers were killed. On the terrain are also some Dutch group shelters.
