Aviation Museum Prague-Kbely

The museum was founded in 1968 in the grounds of the historical Prague-Kbely military airport, the first flying base built after the birth of Czechoslovakia in 1918. Currently, the museum counts with regard to the number of exhibitions and the quality of its collections as one of the top European and worldwide aviation museums. At the moment, there are over 275 aircraft's of which almost a half is in the exhibition rooms and the exterior parts of the museum exhibited to the public. We present a recently re-arranged open-air exhibition and a new acquisition. A new permanent exhibition entitled Flying during World War II will be officially opened in the new Wagner-type hangar within the framework of the Prague Museum Night.
