Petrus Church at Gulpen since 2 sept. 1939 Born 1 July 1939 in Voerendaal Died 24 April 1945 in Bergen-Belsen (D) During the practice of his priesthood he had to fight with the german occupier He gave his life for his parishioners in the concentration camp at Bergen-Belsen text copied from the memorial stone in the church Local History Association Galopia May 2013[/i]
