Memorial for Artillery steal 8. On the 10th of May 1940 a German infanterybattalion attacked the Peel-Raamstelling at Mill from the back. The 3rd brigade of the 20th Artillery Regiment stopped the attack without any help from infantry. To make that happen the 12 canons, type 8cm steal from 1880 had to turn 120 degrees with direct aim and fire partly over each other. This achievement is unique in the history of war.
