Concentration Camp Wöbbelin

In the last months of the Second World War there was a satellite of Neuengamme concentration camp near Wöbbelin. The camp existed for just 10 weeks until liberated on 2 May 1945. At that time there were about 3500 inmates. During this period 1,000 died. About 6000 people went through the camp.
