This symbolic war cemetery is dedicated to the 15 Polish soldiers who fell in the Battle of Westerplatte (1-6 September 1939). It stands on the former site of Guard House No.5. The ashes of former commander of Westerplatte; brigadier general Sucharski were placed here after the war.
