Fort Eben-Emael - machine-gun bunker Mi Sud

This bunker is part of Fort Eben-Emael and was armed with 3 heavy machine-guns. In addition, the bunker was equipped with 3 searchlights and an observation turret (see photo 3). The square hole next to the gun opening for the machine gun in photo 4 is the opening for the searchlight. The bunker had to defend the terrain on top of the fort. The bunker was disabled by a hollow charge of 50 kg. The traces of the impact were later filled with concrete.
