This chapel commemorates the liberation of Heeswijk by the 101 Airborne Division during operation 'Market Garden'. In the chapel is a small statue of a parachute-trooper and the chapel contains the text: [i]U.S.A. LIBERATION MEMORIAL AIRB.[/i] The remembrance bench commemorates the 101st Airborne Division.
