The Stp " Saitenspiel" (better known as battery Todt) existed of 4 disproportionate bunkers (turm I till IV). One bunker (Turm III) have been heavily damaged in 1945. Two of the three remaining bunkers (Turm II and IV) are abandoned and the last bunker (Turm I) is used nowadays as museum. The aim of this battery was to monitor the Canal and shelling the English coast. The arms of battery Todt existed of 4, 380 mm guns. In September 1944 the battery Todt was captured on the Germans by Canadians troops.
