Memorial 'Himmelfahrtstrasse'

This path was the route of ten thousands of people before they were gassed in the gass chambers of the Sobibór extermination camp. This path was known as the 'Himmelfahrtstrasse' (Heavenly Way). Today, there are memorial stones places along side of the path in memory of the victims of Sobibór.
