Altes Museum

From 1933 the Altes Museum was used for propaganda purposes of the NSDAP. It was heavily damaged between 1941 and 1943 during allied air bombardments. A truck loaded with fuel exploded in fron of the museum on 8 May 1945 with the result that a large part of the building burned down.
