Cemetery German War Victims Treuenbrietzen

This cemetery contains the remains of hundreds of German civillians and POW's who were murdered here by Soviet troops in April 1945. This incident was later known as the 'Treuenbrietzen Massacre'. There are also RAD & Hitlerjugend personel and German soldiers buried who fell in the fighting for Treuenbrietzen.
