The catholic cemetery in Tiberias contains at least one Polish war grave from the Second World War. It contains the remains of: [i]Bielec Michał - Carpathian Rifle Brigade (2nd Polish Corps) - 22/06/1940.[/i] There is also a memorial in memory of the 2nd Polish Corps standing here.
