Commonwealth War Graves Bouillon

On the Municipal Cemetery in Bouillon are three Commonwealth War Graves from World War II. These are the graves of Sgt W.J. Anning, P/O T. Hurst and C.R. Wells. On May 12, 1940 at 1430 departed from airbase Villeneuve-les-Vertus the Fairey Battle K9485 with the mission to attack German positions at st.Hubert. It was over Belgium hit by a Flak anti aircraftgun and crashed in Bouillon. In the crash, all crew members were killed, they are all buried in this cemetery.
