This impressive museum was opened in 2006 and is dedicated to the history of the U.S. Marine Corps during the First and Second World War. There are also exhibitions about the wars in Vietnam and Korea and other wars. It contains the flag that was first raised on top of the Suribachi mount on Iwo Jima in 1945.
