Atlantikwall - Batterie Mont-Fleury

3 Rue Hector Berlioz, Ver-sur-Mer
Normandie, France

This German coastal battery was built between March and April 1944 and was armed with four Soviet K390/2 122mm guns, of which two were placed in H669 casemates and the other two in open gun emplacements. It was not completed during the Allied invasion on 6 June 1944 and was captured by British troops in the morning of 6 June without much resistance from the garrison.
