Forced Labor Camp Ohrbeck

This camp, at the Augustaschacht-mine, was built by the Gestapo in 1944. There were about 250 inmates. Though time, about 2000 people stayed in the camp, mainly from the Netherlands. Thay had to work in the mine or in Osnabrück. There is now a memorial and a small museum in an original building.
