Camp SS-Berghaus Sudelfeld
Unteres Sudelfeld 9, Bayrischzell
Bayern, Germany
From 1938 to 1945 this was a holiday complex for the SS. The construction of the entrance road and buildings was accomplished by inmates of Dachau concentration camp. Until 1940 they were transported here by buses. From 1940 to 1945 there was a satellite camp. The main building of the complex is now used as a youth hostel. A plaque reminds visitors of the past.
