Memorial Landing Paratroopers Operation Anthropoid

On 28 December 1941, Jozef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš were, together with seven other paratroopers, dropped near Nehvizdy. On 27 May 1942, Jozef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš would execute the assasination of Reinhard Heydrich. The action was named Operation Anthropoid.
