Concentration Camp Plaszow

In 1942, Plaszow concentration camp was built on the terrain of two Jewish cemeteries. Thousands of people died in the camp. In January 1945, the survivors were send on a death march to Auschwitz. The camp became well-known by the Steven Spielberg-movie Schindler's List. Of the camp, nothing remained. Only one memorial.
