Visitor's Centre US Military Cemetery Margraten

This visitor centre is the tenth of the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) worldwide. The remarkable 600 m2 building designed by KAAN Architects was opened in late 2023 in the presence of US Ambassador Shefali Razdan Duggal. An impressive exhibition includes the story of World War II, the personal histories of some of the victims and the history of the cemetery. In the auditorium, a continuous film showing impressive footage of the war and also highlighting the cemetery's adoption programme was shown.
