Information Panel Destroyed Fraenkelufer Synagogue
Berlijn
Berlin, Germany

This information panel is located near the site where the Fraenkelufer Synagogue was completed in 1916. The ortohdox Jewish house of worship was severely damaged during Kristallnacht in November 1938 and continued to suffer so much damage thereafter that it was demolished in the late 1950s. An annex for youth services did survive and is again used for Jewish religious services.
