Military Museum Mareth Line

The Mareth Military Museum tells the story of the battles on the Mareth Line, with weapons, uniforms and personal stories of soldiers. Close to the museum, which can be found between Mareth and Aram, several fortifications from that time can also be seen. The Mareth Line was the scene of fighting between the British 8th Army under the command of General Montgomery and the 1st German-Italian Army under the command of Italian Giovanni Messe in March 1943.
