Adolf Hitler stayed in this hospital from October 9 to December 1, 1916 to recover from his injuries. The complex was also used as a military hospital during the Second World War and was damaged by bombing. The Red Army also used the complex as a hospital. The hospital complex is still there, but has fallen into disrepair. It is one of the most famous and largest abandoned places around Berlin
