A memorial plaque for Paulette LEWINSKY hangs at the entrance to the trade school. She was born on October 22, 1924. She studied at the School of Trade and Industry in La Rochelle in 1939. In 1942, she was deported to the concentration camp in Auschwitz, together with her parents and sister Marthe, victims of Nazism.
